Materiality of Guggenheim

Exterior of Guggenheim:

The Guggenheim Bilbao Utilizes Titanium Cladding on its exterior, Giving the structure a sterile feel to the flowing shapes which would normally be seen as organic.

The structure becomes a warped metal creature emerging from the river of Bilbao.

the titanium also reflects the light harshly, with extreme patches of light focusing on the building
