Vertical Glass House was designed by Yung Ho Chang and is a structure that defies the traditional values of the home. By Using glass as the material for internal walls and floors, the distinction between private and public spaces is removed, creating a dynamic experimental Residential house that is situated right in the centre of Shanghai. Ironically the Exterior walls of the vertical glass house are completely concrete, in comparison to the purely glass interior, thus creating an insular living space. the space still utilizes natural light through the top of the building which has a slight angle allowing sunlight to flood down through the floors and walls of the building.
